Customer service oriented. Kind, friendly, polite, and patient. Staff works together well and are attentive, willing to answer questions, provide guidance, support and instructions. I especially appreciate that staff ask for feedback during sessions to ensure client is comfortable. They monitor your pain level by asking directly so not to cause discomfort, harm or injury. They never leave client unattended and are readily available as they monitor all activity for safety and compliance via consistent gentle reminders. Staff communicate verbally and non-verbally, demonstrating directives, hands on, providing needed aid and assistance but also communicate verbally in a calm and reassuring manner. Staff are positive, upbeat and encouraging. They do not hesitate to provide verbal positive reinforcement throughout and at close of session. I feel like I am being rescued! Finally getting the help I need. They also explain the physiology and mechanics of exercises in layman terms so client is well informed and can relate.

Dr. Rebecca Romano is an outstanding Physical Therapist. She is a caring and compassionate doctor. I have been a patient of hers for over a year now for three different issues. Her approach to each issue is very detailed. Dr. Romano will take the test results, the prescribing doctor's notes and your history to come up with a plan to get you back to a healthier you. One of my issues was from a traumatic event which required surgery. At the very start of therapy for this event she said there would be exercises that would be painful and that she might not be my favorite person at that particular moment. She was correct, but as I got through those tough exercises my progress to recovery is coming along extremely well. Both my surgeon and my medical team are very pleased with my progress due to Dr. Romano's knowledge of my injury and how to help to heal it.Dr. Rebecca Romano is a "TOP DOCTOR" and you would be in caring hands as your Therapist.Thank You Dr. Rebecca,Robert W. I started physical therapy 7 weeks ago at Breakthru’s location on Nelson Drive in Medford. My experience has been transformative! Pam Bigelow is my PT and has guided me from day one. I was recently diagnosed with stage 4 arthritis in both knees. I was hoping to get back to walking 3-5 miles per day and avoid injections and knee replacement surgery. I am happy to report that Pam worked with me to reduce pain, increase strength and flexibility and most definitely boosted my confidence and ability to walk and maintain my quality of life. Shout out to Pam, Zack, Steve and all the staff at Breakthru in Medford. I feel like I gained a family. I highly recommend Pam Bigelow and the team at Breakthru.
