I saw Dr Matt Lajoie and he was able to quickly assess my symptoms and accurately diagnose the problem. He was very good at asking relevant questions and truly listening to my responses. I was not at all excited about starting 3 times a week physical therapy after ankle surgery. I knew it was a necessary evil and my surgeon recommended Breakthru.From the welcoming front desk to Drs. Matt and Tim, I knew I was in good hands. PT went from something I saw as a chore to quickly my favorite parts of the week. Each appointment left me tired, and sometimes sore, but I felt the progress and my ankle was getting stronger. Dr. Matt got me out of my walking boot and back to taking long walks.Five stars for the staff, the ease of making appointments and the laughs….even if I was forced to use the elliptical 😉.

I really love working with Matt. He is so kind and explains everything thoroughly. He's really helping me out with my ankle issues and gives me great advice. I injured my lower leg playing Pickleball and needed physical therapy. Tim did an amazing job with me and I am now able to play again pain free. The strengthening exercises helped me through my injury. Tim also guided me on how much I should play after my pain subsided, which really helped.This business is very professional and exhibits a most friendly and caring atmosphere.I highly recommend this business.

Over the past 2 years, I had been dealing with a hamstring injury and throughout that time, I had met with multiple trainers and specialists. I was unable to find a solution until I met Tim. I worked with Tim throughout the summer, and he helped me get back to running full-time and did a great job in figuring out ways to increase strength and flexibility in my hamstrings, something that I had lacked ever since I started running 4 years ago. As tough as it was having to take time out of my summer for 2x a day each week after a long day of work, Tim made my experience very enjoyable, as he was always positive and fun to be around. I'll miss working with Tim. I hope other people take advantage of the fact that they can work with someone who does a great job and truly cares about their patients like Tim does.

I have gone to Breakthru for years. Most recently my therapist Tim Salkowski was transferred and promoted to the Mt. Laurel office. Once my schedule changed I was able to follow Tim to Mt. Laurel because out of all my therapists I had the best results with Tim. I highly recommend Breakthru, especially Tim. The office is brand new and all of the staff are kind and friendly.

Tim is one of the best Physical Therapist at Breakthru! He's patient, understanding and knows what he's doing. I came in nervous becuase some PT push you well beyond you limits. Tim pushes right to where you didn't know you need to be. The staff here is amazing as well and friendly and best part is we have a special little "guest" every Monday 😀

Tim and the Breakthru Physical Therapy team at Mt Laurel, helped me return to sport after my injury. In less than one year following my achilles tendon rupture, I was able to complete a half-Ironman distance triathlon! Tim is an expert in sports rehab and uses the latest rehab protocols to get athletes and clients back to sport and life with minimal discomfort. The use of blood flow restriction therapy was especially helpful in my early rehab and it is not offered everywhere! Big thanks to the entire Breakthru team for their help!

I torn my bicep tendon & waited 3 months before the repair. The bicep had significant muscle atrophy. Breakthru is an outstanding PT facility, Tim S. and his team used advanced & extensive technologies to shorten recovery from the torn bicep & frightening muscle atrophy. They put together a comprehensive rehab program involving bands, stretch, weights, recum bikes, soft tissue & scar message and blood flow restriction (BFR) therapy. In 5 weeks I progressed from being extremely weak with a bicep. My bicep was 1.5 inches smaller since the injury with limited range of motion. Five weeks later my arm has full function and I can easily curling 25lb dumbells. BFR under the direction of a PT really allowed muscle growth with much lighter weight. I joined a large support group with similar injuries and it appears no one has recovered as quickly as me. Tim's program & the Breakthru facility with certified BFR & deep scar tissue therapies accelerated my recovery by 6 months.

When I called to make my appointment, Shelly was super helpful and nice. Her and Tracy at the front desk were always warm and welcoming. My first appointment and evaluation was with Matt. Matt was friendly and thorough and I started to feel better after that first appointment. My nextappointment was with Tim and thankfully they work together so well that I was still getting amazing results. I can’t say enough about this team and how they help their clients. They all really care and I always left my appointments feeling so much better. No appointment ever felt like an inconvenience or a chore. I highly recommend this location of Breakthru.

Saw Dr. Tim for 6 weeks at Breakthru to treat neck pain I had for over 6 months. He was excellent! Treatment consisted of heat, manual therapy and exercises. Tim has a friendly personality and listens attentively and then applies treatment- which worked extremely well for me. I highly recommend Breakthru and Tim.
